Home Builder Deals

During the federal home buyer tax credit period, many builders revved up construction to take advantage of this credit.  However, a recent national survey of real estate agents shows that home buyer sales fell in May to its lowest level since the financial crisis of late 2008. April to May of this year was the biggest one- month fall since the survey started in January 2005.

As a result, construction builders are cutting prices and offering deals to bump up sales of their spec homes.  Many are offering very attractive options such as free design, 15% inventory reduction costs, and fixed for life very low mortgage rates.  Some are not advertising exactly what the great buy is, only that it is a great home sale and it is up to you to check it out for yourself.

So, if you are in the market – check out the builders in your area.  You just might find one of those “make me an offer I can’t refuse” deals and end up with a gorgeous new home at a bargain price.
