Revamp Your Home

In this down-trodden economy, people are looking for ways to revamp their home making it new and refreshed without the pain and cost of total renovation.

For instance, neutral interior colors portray a calming effect.  Paint your rooms in soft, neutral shades like cream, mocha, gray etc.  Garnish with a metallic color accent, like silver, adding a bit of dazzle.

Modern country is ageless and exudes a comforting charm.  Natural finishes, reclaimed woods, rattan, wicker and other natural textures are very “livable” finishes for busy families.  The look is distress-free and fits both country style and urban loft equally.

Global influences are exactly that — acceptable globally.  Ethnic inspired fabrics are being used all over in American homes.  Organic patterns, vibrant colors, and handcrafted looks create a feeling of sophisticated warmth.

If you are redoing your home office area, home office furniture such as writing tables and petite desks are moving to the forefront.  These smaller size, but very functional, workstations don’t take up an entire room and fit easily into most interiors providing the needed workspace without dominating the total area.

Revamping  your home does not have to cost a fortune.  You will find it can be very reasonable and with just a few simple changes, your home will have a complete new look.
